I just wanted to share how much I’ve been enjoying these online Japanese lessons. Before this, I was trying to learn japanese like everyone on my own with books, and honestly… I would often feel disheartened and lost. It would be hard for me to stay motivated.

But with these live lessons, it’s totally different. The teacher, Tatsu San, is super friendly and makes the class really interactive — we can ask questions anytime, and it feels like a real community.

The regular schedule keeps me on track in my japanese learning, and now I actually want to improve (and I’m able to do so).

And outside of class, there are these short videos and reels that cover extra grammar points/vocabulary — they’re quick, super helpful, and perfect for reviewing on the go.

As I subscribed to his paying content, I’m also lucky to get a PDF with all the lesson content which is very much helpful to go back and review things at my own pace, especially when something didn’t fully click during the live class.

All in all, Tatsu San has been a great discovery and his teaching has been a game-changer for me !!! Highly recommend.

Being part of this community as a Japanese learner and furoshikist has been an amazing experience. I started Japanese with Duolingo. Tatsu-san’s lessons explain not just the ‘what’ but the ‘why’ behind the grammar. The structure, visuals, Anki cards, and encouragement make it easy to remember and fun to continue. I’m really glad I found Furoshiki!
