Usage
A way of saying giving and receiving, with the person receiving the thing as the subject. The person who receives the thing is me or my family.
The particle “に” or “から” can be used to indicate the giver. However, when the giver is not a person, “から” is used.
The “いただく” is used when the giver is a superior person.
受ける人 は / が 与える人 から / に sth をもらいます
The recipient receives the sth from the giver.
目上の人 は / が 与える人 から / に sth をいただきます
The superior receives the sth from the giver.
