2:38 ですけど、実際に現地に行った時に、話したり聞くことが、自分が勉強していたのにも関わらず、難しいということが分かりました。

2:49 そして、私は留学の目的として、英語だけでなく、起業家精神というのを学びたかったので、その起業家精神の勉強をしながら生活をしたりとか、英語を勉強したりとかっていうことがとても大変で、すごく苦労しました。

3:09 そのように、今、同じように日本には、日本語の勉強だけではなくて、仕事だったりとか、留学のために日本に来ている人がたくさんいるということが分かり、私は日本にいる人の苦しさがよくわかるようになって、ここで何か彼らに同じようなことをできないかなって思いました。

3:34 そこで、現地で留学期間中に発信を始めようと思ったきっかけなんですけども、始めようと思ったきっかけは、現地で日本語ミートアップ、Japanese Meetupってものに参加したんですね。

3:47 これはアイルランドのダブリンっていう首都の街で行われたイベントなんですけど、日本に興味がある外国の人、日本語を勉強してる人だったり、日本の文化がすごい好きだよっていうような人と日本人が集まって、1つの場所で、コーヒーとかを飲みながらお話をする会があったんですね。

4:10 で、この会に参加してるときに、現地の日本人の日本語を勉強してる学生だったりとか、社会人の人に、どうやって勉強してるのかとかを聞いたところ、

4:21 今、Instagramですごい勉強してる人が多いってことに気づいたんですね。

4:25 で、アイルランドって、やはり日本人の先生の数もすごく多いわけではないんですけども、隙間時間だったりとかに、Instagramで発信してる投稿を見て勉強してるっていうのを知った時に、

4:38 これ、今の時代、周りに先生がいない人でも、Instagramの発信を通じて日本語を勉強するんだなって思ったんですね。

4:49 だから、そこで目の前にいるミートアップでできた友達にどういう発信をしたらみんなが喜んでくれるかなっていうところから、最初、日本語の発信をInstagramで留学期間中に始めました。

5:04 そこからたくさん友達ができたりとか、直接作った投稿がすごいわかりやすかったよとか言ってもらえるような機会も増えて、もっとInstagramで投稿を作りたいなって思うようになってきました。

5:20 ここまで、なんで日本語の発信をするようになったかということについてお話してきたんですけど、

5:29 そこから今、日本に帰ってきて、日本にいる外国の人ともすごい関わるようになったんですね。

5:38 で、そこで気づいたことがあって、やっぱり留学だったり、その滞在をしながら同時に日本語を勉強する。

5:49 わかりやすい例を出すと、例えば、日本には働くために日本に来てる人がたくさんいるんですね。留学の人もいるんですけど。

5:53 そうなると、やはり仕事をしながら日本語を勉強しなきゃいけないっていう風に思ってるんです。

6:06 そういう人たちはどこでいつ日本語を勉強してるかというと、まず現状、やはりほとんど自分で勉強できてない、勉強時間が取れてないっていう問題もあります。

6:15 また、日本では先生の数が足りていなくて、日本語教室の空白地域っていうのが問題になっています。

6:22 これは、日本語教室がその地域の中に1か所もないという状況です。そして、日本語を勉強できないという人が年々どんどん増えています。

6:39 このような形で、留学の前に日本語力を伸ばした状態で日本に来るということと、そして、日本に来てからも、周りに先生がいない環境であっても、日本語をずっと学び続けることが必要だと考えたんですね。

9:57 まだまだ未熟ですし、皆さんの力に最初からなれるわけではないかもしれないんですけど、日々いろいろなことを感じて、成長して、そして正しいと思ったことをすぐInstagramだったりとか教材という形にして表現していけたらと思うので、今後ともどうぞよろしくお願いします。
